A operação financiada através do investimento RE-C08-i01 - Transformação da Paisagem dos Territórios de Floresta Vulneráveis visa essencialmente aumentar a resiliência dos sistemas ecológicos, agrícolas, florestais e das comunidades. Este investimento integra-se na componente C08 - Florestas, que visa desenvolver uma resposta estrutural na prevenção e combate de incêndios rurais, por forma a proteger os territórios rurais de incêndios graves num contexto de alterações climáticas, com impacto duradouro ao nível da resiliência, sustentabilidade e coesão territorial. A promoção e operacionalização da OIGP Alva e Alvoco será dinamizada pela Entidade Gestora, CAULE - Associação Florestal da Beira Serra que promoverá a dinamização da transformação da paisagem, visando a sua reconversão e gestão dos territórios florestais, agrícolas e silvopastoris, através de um conjunto articulado e integrado de intervenções.Os principais objetivos são os seguintes:- Assegurar as condições financeiras para a concretização das ações definidas na OIGP Alva e Alvoco aprovada;- Aumentar a resiliência dos territórios rurais, em particular dos florestais, aos incêndios rurais e às alterações climáticas, através de uma intervenção articulada e integrada em territórios agroflorestais em zonas de minifúndio.O financiamento das intervenções será complementado com apoios à manutenção e gestão e remuneração dos serviços dos ecossistemas, até 20 anos, através de outras fontes de financiamento.
Beneficiaries
The two types are::
- Direct Beneficiaries are those whose funding and projects to implement are part of the Recovery and Resilience Plan that has been negotiated and approved by the European Union;
- Final Beneficiaries are those whose funding and projects to implement are approved following a selection process through Calls for Applications.
Call for applications
As part of the Call for Applications, submissions are requested to select the projects and final beneficiaries to whom funding will be awarded. Specific selection criteria are defined for each call, which must be reflected in the applications submitted and assessed.
The project is appraised on the basis of its compliance with the selection criteria laid down in the calls for applications, and a final score may be awarded, where applicable.
