A presente candidatura pretende o estabelecimento de 3 Condomínios de Aldeia, nas aldeias de Outoreça – União de Freguesias de Campelo e Ovil, Eiras – União de Freguesias de Santa Cruz do Douro e S. Tomé de Covelas e Ermida – Freguesia de Valadares, com áreas de intervenção de 5,96 hectares, 5,54 hectares, e 3,39 hectares, respetivamente. As operações a realizar consubstanciam-se na reconversão de territórios florestais para uso agroflorestal com a instalação (em proporções diferentes em função do cada condomínio) de pomares de Castanheiro europeu (Castanea sativa) e de Medronheiro (Arbutus unedo) e o aproveitamento da regeneração natural de Carvalhos (Quercus robur e Quercus pyrenaica). São objetivos principais das operações a realizar: 1 – Diminuição do risco estrutural de incêndio rural e aumento da proteção passiva dos aglomerados (Aldeias) por alteração da tipologia de ocupação do solo (de florestal para agrícola) e diminuição da acumulação e continuidade dos combustíveis presentes; 2 – Aumento do rendimento associado às áreas intervencionadas e fixação de população no espaço rural.
Beneficiaries
The two types are::
- Direct Beneficiaries are those whose funding and projects to implement are part of the Recovery and Resilience Plan that has been negotiated and approved by the European Union;
- Final Beneficiaries are those whose funding and projects to implement are approved following a selection process through Calls for Applications.
Call for applications
As part of the Call for Applications, submissions are requested to select the projects and final beneficiaries to whom funding will be awarded. Specific selection criteria are defined for each call, which must be reflected in the applications submitted and assessed.
The project is appraised on the basis of its compliance with the selection criteria laid down in the calls for applications, and a final score may be awarded, where applicable.
