O presente projeto visa a instalação e operacionalização de cinco gabinetes de medicina dentária integrados na rede dos cuidados de saúde primários do Algarve, distribuídos pelos centros de saúde de Vila Real de Santo António, Portimão, Loulé e Quarteira. A iniciativa responde à crescente necessidade de melhorar o acesso da população a cuidados de saúde oral, promovendo a prevenção, o diagnóstico precoce e o tratamento de patologias dentárias.A implementação destes gabinetes permitirá reduzir desigualdades no acesso à saúde oral, contribuindo para uma melhoria significativa dos indicadores de saúde pública, permitirá diminuir o recurso ao privado pelos utentes, nomeadamente os com incapacidade económica, e em ultima instância contribuirá para aliviar a pressão sobre os serviços hospitalares.A criação destes cinco gabinetes representa um reforço decisivo da capacidade de resposta em saúde oral no Algarve, assegurando uma melhor cobertura na região. A distribuição estratégica entre Vila Real de Santo António, Portimão, Loulé e Quarteira permite ampliar significativamente a proximidade aos cuidados, reduzindo deslocações, tempos de espera e assimetrias no acesso. O projeto contribui para uma abordagem mais abrangente, preventiva e contínua, fortalecendo a equidade e promovendo uma melhoria global da saúde oral da população algarvia.O projeto pretende reforçar a integração da medicina dentária no Serviço Nacional de Saúde, garantindo uma resposta estruturada, sustentável e orientada para a prevenção e a promoção do bem-estar da população do Algarve.
Beneficiaries
The two types are::
- Direct Beneficiaries are those whose funding and projects to implement are part of the Recovery and Resilience Plan that has been negotiated and approved by the European Union;
- Final Beneficiaries are those whose funding and projects to implement are approved following a selection process through Calls for Applications.
Call for applications
As part of the Call for Applications, submissions are requested to select the projects and final beneficiaries to whom funding will be awarded. Specific selection criteria are defined for each call, which must be reflected in the applications submitted and assessed.
The project is appraised on the basis of its compliance with the selection criteria laid down in the calls for applications, and a final score may be awarded, where applicable.
