A transformação do sector da energia tem grandes desafios para garantir a segurança do fornecimento e acrescentar maior flexibilidade do lado da procura, para viabilizar a integração da produção distribuída renovável.A flexibilidade energética consiste em possibilitar a transmutação dinâmica de consumos para suprir as necessidades energéticas onde e quando são necessárias. Contudo, é necessário o desenvolvimento da tecnologia necessária para otimizar, de forma automatizada, a correspondência entre a oferta e a procura, proporcionando estabilidade nos sistemas de transporte e distribuição e reduzindo os custos energéticos. Face ao novo paradigma da partilha de energia, cuja legislação recente permite. Neste projeto a Cleanwatts(CW) pretende testar em ambiente real no âmbito do seu Living Lab, modelos e algoritmos de IA que permitirão uma interconexão mais inteligente e otimização da partilha de energia nas Comunidades de Energia(CER) de forma a maximizar as poupanças dos membros.
Beneficiaries
The two types are::
- Direct Beneficiaries are those whose funding and projects to implement are part of the Recovery and Resilience Plan that has been negotiated and approved by the European Union;
- Final Beneficiaries are those whose funding and projects to implement are approved following a selection process through Calls for Applications.
Call for applications
As part of the Call for Applications, submissions are requested to select the projects and final beneficiaries to whom funding will be awarded. Specific selection criteria are defined for each call, which must be reflected in the applications submitted and assessed.
The project is appraised on the basis of its compliance with the selection criteria laid down in the calls for applications, and a final score may be awarded, where applicable.

Beneficiaries representing public entities implement their project by signing one or more contracts with suppliers for goods or services through public procurement procedures.
